AUGMENTED REALITY: 19 Crimes
JWT SF created Augmented reality for 19 Crimes Wine to increase sales, and strengthen brand advocacy. We knew our core audience was already devoted to the brand on a personal level so we enriched their experience by creating an AR App that would educate them on the brand as well as the stories of each convict. How did we do it? We brought our labels to life, literally, encouraging purchase and engagement from our target consumer. Millions of views and a few hundred downloads later, the App is still going strong and more SKUs have been added to the experience since we first launched in Spring 2017.
When Kroger asked 19 Crimes to develop a signature shopper experience we (JWT SF) knew exactly what to do: transport our audience to a time and place that only our convicts truly knew. We used 360º technology to create an immersive VR experience that allowed users to trade places with our convicts, as they were shipped off to Australia in an prison ship.
